Aston Villa are interested in signing Rhian Brewster from Premier League rivals Liverpool in the summer transfer window, according to The Sun. It has been reported by the British tabloid that the Villans want to secure the services of the young striker on a loan deal.
Villa manager Dean Smith is reported to have enquired about the 20-year-old striker, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Swansea City in the Championship. Sheffield United have also approached the Premier League champions to sign the youngster either on a loan deal or on a permanent contract.
Liverpool value Brewster at £20 million, and Villa do have the funds. However, it remains to be seen if the Reds are open to selling the striker. The England Under-21 international is very promising and could develop into a dynamic player in the future, and the Merseyside outfit may decide to keep hold of him.
