Borussia Dortmund plan to schedule a meeting with Erling Haaland in the coming days to figure out whether the striker wants to stay at the club.
Haaland is wanted by nearly every top side on the planet, with Real Madrid believed to be leading a pack which also includes Manchester City, Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain.

Dortmund have a gentleman’s agreement to sell Haaland next summer if the right offer arrives, which it almost certainly will, but the German side have never hidden their desire to keep the 21-year-old beyond that point and have been pleading their case for a while now.
According to AS, Dortmund are ready to get serious about this. They want a meeting with Haaland to work out what his intentions are as they want enough time to replace him if he decides to push for an exit.
Dortmund are ready to hand Haaland a huge salary, around €14m per season, and they are also prepared to agree to a formal release clause which would allow the Norway international to leave in 2023, albeit for significantly more than the €75m which it would take to sign him at the end of the season.
If they cannot convince Haaland to stay, Dortmund want enough time to focus on their push to sign Red Bull Salzburg starlet Karim Adeyemi, who 90min recently revealed is unlikely to move to RB Leipzig as was initially hoped by the Red Bull hierarchy.
It is believed that Haaland is more interested in the sporting project on offer rather than the finances, and agent Mino Raiola recently revealed that remaining with Dortmund is not out of the question just yet.
“We’ll look for the best option, and I’m not ruling out another year in Dortmund either, theoretically that’s still possible,” he said (via BILD).
Raiola also denied claims that he has already reached a pre-agreement with Real Madrid, stressing that no discussions with any team are that advanced.
