According to reports in Germany, Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham is under investigation after his words about referee Felix Zwayer, who controversially gave Bayern Munich what proved to have been the winning penalty in Bundesliga’s Der Klassiker on Saturday.

Zwayer was indeed involved in a match-fixing scandal back in 2005, which resulted in a six-month ban.

Dortmund have tried to calm the situation following Bellingham’s words, pointing out that the midfielder is only 18 years old and was clearly emotional after the game, but they’ve also made it clear that they’re prepared to stand by him all the way in this matter.
