Market: Bournemouth win
Odds: 4/5 @ 888sport
Looking to lay down another marker on their travels this weekend, Bournemouth will make the trip to Pride Park on Sunday lunchtime.
Starting with the hosts, hit with yet another points deduction earlier in the week, it appears that Derby are freefalling their way towards League One. Facing a string of issues behind the scenes and rooted to the foot of the table, Wayne Rooney’s side have also struggled to find much stability on the pitch. Once again having to settle for a single point when they made the trip to Millwall last time out, the Rams have failed to win any of their last seven Championship matchups, a run that stems back to September 29th. With their recent issues highlighted by a 2-1 defeat against fellow relegation scrappers Barnsley, the former Manchester United ace must try and find some kind of boost. However, last seen at Pride Park suffering a 2-1 loss against Blackburn, Derby could be in for a long afternoon here.
As for the visitors, heading into the international break with a stunning 4-0 romp against Swansea, Bournemouth are in the midst of what has become a remarkable run of form. Really finding their feet under new boss Scott Parker, the south coast outfit are tipped as a standout pick to book a Premier League return this season. Opening up this weekend’s fixtures holding a two-point buffer at the top of the table, the former Fulham manager has seen his high-flying squad win six of their last five outings. Really gaining a reputation for their free-scoring displays in the final third, Bournemouth also have on attacking talisman enjoying his own purple patch. Bagging a brace against Swansea last time out, Dominic Solanke has already racked up 13 Championship goals so far this season.
