Carson Wentz has left the Philadelphia Eagles to join the Indianapolis Colts.

The Colts are backing Wentz despite his subpar 2020, and are hopeful that he can get back to his best under Frank Reich, with whom he shone in 2016 and 2017.

In exchange, the Colts traded a third-round pick in the upcoming 2021 draft, an 83rd overall, and a conditional second-round pick in 2022.

The 2022 draft pick will become a first-round pick should Wentz hit performance-based targets, such as playing in 75 percent of games next season, or 70 percent and Indiana make the playoffs.
