Drew Moor will be back in burgundy for a tenth season in 2022, signing a one-year contract with Colorado Rapids on Friday.
Moor played in Colorado from 2009 through 2015 prior to joining Toronto FC in 2016. Moor re-joined the Rapids prior to the 2020 season and helped the team reach a club-record 61 points in 2021, as the club finished atop the Western Conference table for the first time in history.

The Dallas native has made 201 appearances for the Rapids in his career, second-most by any player for Colorado, helping the team win the 2010 MLS Cup. In 2021, Moor became the 8th player in MLS history to appear in 400 career matches.
One of the longest-tenured players in club history, the 37-year-old defender will spend another season in Colorado.
“Few players are as emblematic of our club as Drew,” Colorado executive vice president and general manager Pádraig Smith said in a release. “His championship experience and leadership both on and off the field have been in an invaluable asset for us since rejoining the team so we’re delighted to have him back with us for another year.”
Colorado’s 2022 season begins on February 26th against LAFC at Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles.
