Australian Open Serbian star has caused controversy
The controversy surrounding Novak Djokovic and his response to COVID-19 as a global crisis has been significant ever since the tennis star suggested he wouldn’t get the vaccine, and he has now been criticised by Nick Kyrgios for not wearing a mask.
Having already tried to lessen the quarantine restrictions on players partaking in the Australian Open, the Serbian broke further protocol by appearing in training without wearing a facemask.
“Djokovic is a tool… Ridiculous scenes,” Krygios posted on Twitter.
Djokovic is a tool. I don’t mind Bernie but his Mrs obviously has no perspective, ridiculous scenes https://t.co/MMgeriH2GJ

Kyrgios isn’t actually in quarantine due to the fact he is from Australia, which means he can lead a relatively normal life, but he is still treating the virus seriously.
