Premier League Wins for Everton and his horse
Carlo Ancelotti‘s successes weren’t just exclusive to football this weekend. The Italian coach oversaw Everton‘s win in the FA Cup on Saturday before turning his attention to racing in France.
Everton were not convincing at Goodison Park, needing extra time to beat Championship side Rotherham to progress to the fourth round of the cup.
Also on Saturday, Honor and Pleasure, a horse co-owned by the Toffees boss, won a race at a meeting in Deauville, France.

Ancelotti bought a 50 percent stake in Honor and Pleasure after its sister, Sea of Class, finished second at the prestigious Arc de Triomphe race in 2018.
“Carlo called me yesterday having won his match as well, so he was pretty happy,” Honor and Pleasure’s trainer, Alessandro Botti, told the Racing Post on Sunday.
“He wanted to know if we were heading for a nice race next, but we’ll give him some more time to develop before the spring. He has the right to be a nice horse and I think he’ll be at home on the turf.
“It’s been seven or eight years since [Ancelotti and I] were first introduced and he had Myholydream with me, who won a maiden and ran well in a couple of black-type races here in France before being sold to Hong Kong.”
