TV Expected to broadcast in March
The long-anticipated reunion of the iconic TV show ‘Friends’ could be hitting screens in March and filming has already begun.
Lisa Kudrow, who plays Phoebe Buffay in the hit show, has revealed there’s no backing out now and that the wheels are in motion.
“We’ve already filmed some parts. I pre-shot something for it already, so we’re definitely doing it,” said Kudrow.
However, Kudrow also made clear that the reunion, which will air on HBO Max, is not a continuation of the original series.
“We’re not playing our characters. It’s us getting together, which doesn’t happen a lot and has never happened in front of other people since 2004, when we stopped,” said Kudrow.
Meanwhile, it was Matthew Perry, Chandler Bing in the series, who suggested March as the potential release date.
“Friends reunion being rescheduled for the beginning of March,” tweeted Perry back in November.
“Looks like we have a busy year coming up. And that’s the way I like it!”
