Game of Thrones prequel takes shape: Four new actors confirmed

The new ‘House of the Dragon‘ series, HBO’s prequel to ‘Game of Thrones‘, is coming together, with four new actors confirmed for the spinoff.

Rhys Ifans, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best and Sonoya Mizuno have joined the cast of the show will be based on the story of the Targaryen family, one of the most important noble houses in the universe created by George R.R. Martin.

The new series will hit screens in 2022, with filming due to begin in the spring of this year.

Its producers are hoping to create something on the scale of its sequel, the hugely popular ‘Game of Thrones‘.
