Harry Kane has not turned up to Tottenham training, with speculation over a move to Manchester City rife.
Kane publicly hinted in June that he wished to leave Spurs and City have since had a £100m bid for the striker turned down.

The striker remains desperate to depart this summer, although the Citizens have since turned their attentions to Jack Grealish. Now, as reported by Sky Sports News, Kane is said to have failed to report to training.
He was scheduled to kick off his pre-season preparations today after a short holiday, following his involvement for England at Euro 2020. As of yet, the reasons for Kane’s absence are not clear. Recently, the Times reported that he was not due to start fitness work until after Monday, provided he returned a negative Covid-19 test.
However, according to Fabrizio Romano, his failure to show is not coronavirus or fitness related. It is instead a personal decision. Kane remains under the impression that he has a ‘gentlemen’s agreement’ with Daniel Levy, allowing him to leave this summer.
The club disagrees and remain committed to keeping him at the club. If Kane continued to no-show training, though, they may be forced into a different direction. The possibility of Kane ‘going on strike‘, as it were, was discussed back in June. Even still, if that is what is happening it would come as a major surprise.
City remains Kane’s most likely destination, although the likelihood of them signing both him and Grealish is remote. To do so they would first have to sell some assets and finding buyers could prove challenging in a depressed market.
As 90min reported recently, the Grealish deal is progressing nicely and City believe the player is keen on the move. How the Kane situation changes things remains to be seen.
