Osasuna vs Real Madrid Set for minutes in Pamplona
The Real Madrid faithful are still waiting for the best version of Eden Hazard. Many fans are trying to stay optimistic about the Belgian, but the reality is that he simply hasn’t hit the heights in the Spanish capital.
He has largely been a disappointment since he was brought in to help fill the void left by Cristiano Ronaldo when he moved to Juventus.
We have seen flashes of brilliance from him, though, since he made the move to Spain. His superb performance against Paris Saint Germain in the Champions League seems like a lifetime ago now, however, and those connected with the club want to see him recapture the form which saw him dominate the Premier League with Chelsea.
He is currently returning from yet another injury and will hope for minutes against Osasuna this Saturday evening, but Zinedine Zidane has hinted that his playing time will be limited.
“We don’t know if he’ll play the full 90 minutes,” said the coach.
Historically, Hazard has been eased in when returning from injury. Zidane wants the playmaker to find his feet again gradually and will look to other players in the squad to carry the responsibility going forward.
In a fixture which is always tricky for Los Blancos, Zidane has club captain Sergio Ramos available again after sickness.
The coach must also find a replacement for the suspended Dani Carvajal, with Nacho most likely to come in.
