A number of positive Covid-19 tests on top of additional injury concerns in the Chelsea squad resulted in the game at Kingsmeadow being called off on Wednesday evening.

Everton’s request to have Saturday’s clash with Aston Villa postponed due to Covid-19 cases was granted by the FA and the fixture will be rearranged for later in the season.
