Following a highly successful spell with Liverpool, Michael Owen played, among other clubs, for Manchester United. Former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard, now in charge at Aston Villa, obviously hasn’t forgotten about the retired striker joining their boyhood club’s greatest rivals.
Gerrard also reflected on Aston Villa’s defeat at Anfield on Saturday, crediting Liverpool for forcing his team to defend deeper than they would’ve liked.
