Inter remain optimistic that midfielder Marcelo Brozovic will soon sign a new contract as clubs continue to monitor his situation.
The Croatia international has often been linked with a move away from San Siro, with Tottenham and Manchester United among the sides rumoured to be interested in recent years.

90min exclusively reported earlier in November that Newcastle have been offered the chance to sign both Brozovic and his Nerazzurri teammate Stefan de Vrij.
Both players are approaching the end of their contracts, with De Vrij’s running until 2023 and Brozovic’s ending next summer, but Inter CEO Giuseppe Marotta has revealed he is confident a deal can be struck to keep the latter at the club.
He said: “We are aware that we are offering the right ingredients for him, ones that cannot easily be found at other clubs. I am optimistic about the renewal. We did Barella and Lautaro and I think we will continue with the others as well.”
If talks continue to drag on without an agreement, clubs around Europe could try to take him in January if Inter decide to cash on or in the summer when he’d be available for free.
The Serie A champions have been proactive in keeping their main stars at the club. There was interest in Lautaro Martinez during the summer but the Argentine has since signed a new contract, while midfield star Nicolo Barella has also put pen to paper on fresh terms.
Inter have made a decent start to their title defence, though the race at the top of the table is a tight one. Napoli are currently first with 32 points, ahead of AC Milan on goal difference, with Inter four points behind in third.
