Juventus to hold Dybala talks

Juventus are set to hold talks with Paulo Dybala over his future in the coming days, according to club director Federico Cherubini, who says meetings are set to take place with every player whose contract runs out at the end of June this year. Fabrizio Romano adds that among those, Juan Cuadrado is a priority along with Dybala.

Having started his career at Instituto AC in Argentina, Dybala joined Juventus in 2015 after three years with US Palermo, with the Old Lady reportedly paying over €40 million for his services. However, the Argentina international hasn’t exactly lived up to expectations. His talents and skills on the ball are certainly beyond question, but injuries and understandable inconsistencies have hindered his efforts to reach the highest bracket of football players.

Dybala’s future at the club became doubtful for a while after the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo in 2018, but he obviously managed to outlast the Portuguese superstar in Turin.

With the 28-year-old forward approaching the moment he might become a free agent, a number of top European clubs are said to be monitoring his situation closely, but Juventus are obviously keen to keep hold of his services for years to come.
