Harry Kane won two individual awards on the final day of the Premier League season on what could be his farewell appearance for Tottenham.
The England striker netted in the first half against Leicester, taking him up to 23 goals for the campaign, which was enough to win the Premier League’s Golden Boot ahead of Mohamed Salah‘s 22.
An assist for Gareth Bale‘s 87th minute goal saw him move on to 14 assists for the campaign, which was also enough to win the Premier League’s playmaker award ahead of Bruno Fernandes and Kevin de Bruyne on 12 each.
The awards come at the end of a week where Kane has once again seen himself at the centre of transfer speculation.
The forward has reiterated his desire to leave Tottenham, who finished the season in seventh place in the Premier League.
Ederson’s clean sheet
Manchester City’s Ederson collected the Premier League’s other individual award, keeping a total of 19 cleans sheets.
Chelsea’s Edouard Mendy came second in the standings, keeping 15 clean sheets on his debut season in England.
