LaLiga: Spanish PM authorises the return of LaLiga from June 8

LaLiga Time has arrived for sport to restart

Spanish prime minster Pedro Sanchez has given the green light for LaLiga to resume its activity from the week beginning June 8.

LaLiga president Javier Tebas has been eyeing a June 12 return with the Seville derby between Sevilla and Real Betis but he had been reliant on the government’s go-ahead, which he has now received.

“Spain has done what it should and now new horizons are opening for everyone,” Sanchez said.

“The time has come to bring back many day-to-day activities.

“From June 8, LaLiga will be back.”
