Lakers 117-115 Bulls – NBA In the final moments
The LA Lakers moved to a 7-3 record on Friday night, overcoming the Chicago Bulls by a 117-115 scoreline.
Zach LaVine was the best player on the court and could have pulled the Bulls towards victory with 12 seconds left, but he wasn’t able to hit that shot and Dennis Schroder then secured the win for the reigning champions.
LaVine finished with 38 points and Wendell Carter Jr. netted 23 for his side, but the Lakers had the whole team contributing.
James led the way for his team with 28 points, while they had four more players into double digits as Schroder had 17, Montrezl Harrell had 17, Wesley Matthews had 14 and Markieff Morris had 11.
Marc Gasol contributed six points, but really stood out for his four blocks in the match.
Anthony Davis was out with injury in this one for the Lakers.
