NBA Third man to ever make that figure
LeBron James has become the third ever NBA player to reach 35,000 points after Karl Malone (36,928 points) and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (38,387).
His latest achievement brings back the debate over whether it’s the Los Angeles Lakers star or Michael Jordan as the best basketball player in the history of the sport.
Meanwhile, NBA has announced that LeBron will start in the 2021 All-Star game, which will take place in Atalanta on March 7, as the most voted player in the Western Conference.
That’s the 17th time he will participate in an All Star as a starter, becoming the player who has chosen more times than anyone else who are going to be in his starting line-up.
LeBron is one game away from matching Kobe Bryant (18) and two from reaching Kareem Abdul-Jabbar‘s (19) in All-Star matches.
