Leicester City have unveiled their adidas away kit for the 2021/22 season.
Like their new home strip – which the Foxes wore during their final game of the 2020/21 campaign – the shirt features new sponsors FBS which replaces the long used King Power.
The kit itself is stunning. Featuring a mint and navy blue colour scheme, the distinctive chequered pattern helps it stand out from the crowd. The look is completed with navy shorts and mint socks. The club’s sleeve sponsor, Bia Saigon, also makes an appearance.
The kit was modelled by players from both the men’s, women’s and youth teams ahead of what is set to be an exciting season for the club. The men’s side will once again be competing in the Europa League after securing a fifth placed finish last season.
Brendan Rodgers has already made some exciting signings as well, adding Patson Daka, Boubakary Soumare and Ryan Bertrand to an already strong squad. They kick off their campaign with the Community Shield against Manchester City on Saturday 7 August before their Premier League season begins with a visit from Wolves seven days later.
The women’s side also have plenty to look forward to. They earned promotion to the WSL last term and their transfer activity suggests they intend to stick around for many years.
Both teams will be wearing the kit this season, with the men’s side set to debut it when they travel to Wycombe Wanderers for a pre-season friendly on Wednesday night.
The kit will then go on general sale on Saturday 31 July at 9am. Fans of the strip can even log on to the club’s online shop or pick one up at the Foxes Fanstore, located at the King Power Stadium.
