According to a recent report from Daily Telegraph, Leicester City have made an enquiry about signing Christian Eriksen on loan.
The Inter Milan star would make his way over to the King Power Stadium for the remainder of the season, but the belief is that Leicester aren’t all too happy with his £300,000-per-week wage demands. Instead, they would prefer to pay a sum noticeably lower than that.
It remains to be seen regarding who will blink first in this back and forth, especially given that Tottenham Hotspur also remain interested in bringing him back to the Premier League.
Eriksen hasn’t quite been able to recapture the magic he enjoyed with Spurs during his tenure at the San Siro, and when you consider the joy he had in England, it makes sense for him to at least contemplate the possibility of coming back over – even if he left under questionable circumstances.
