According to a recent report from Goal, Liverpool and Manchester United are both paying close attention to Bayern Munich youngster Jamal Musiala.
The teenage sensation is believed to be in a contract dispute with the German giants, with Musiala apparently holding out for £100,000-per-week. Musiala had previously made his way through Chelsea’s academy and is currently on a youth wage, but that will expire in 18 months.
He is German born but was recently able to play for the England under-21s side, giving him the English connection that could well lure him over to the North West.
These two rivals are no strangers when it comes to battling it out over the affection of a young player, and as we look ahead to what is bound to be a chaotic summer transfer window, you can expect things to heat up with Musiala and also a string of other players both teams are following.
