Man United’s Diogo Dalot arrives in Milan

Usually seeing some fringe players leaving the club would be a clear sign that further signings could be coming in, but nobody actually knows what’s going on at Old Trafford just now.

Diogo Dalot is also a player who doesn’t get near the squad even when there’s injury issues so he might be seen as expendable anyway, while he looks set to sign for AC Milan after he was spotted arriving in Italy:

Diogo #Dalot è appena atterrato all’aeroporto di Linate Prime. Ora tampone, visite mediche e domani mattina la firma sul contratto.#Milan #ManchesterUnited @DiMarzio

That report also suggests that his medical and contract signing should be taking place tomorrow, so hopefully he does get to play regularly next season and gets a chance to develop further:

Diogo Dalot to Milan details ?
– Loan *without* buy option.
– No option because #MUFC asked for €30m as fee.
– The player will fly tomorrow, he’ll arrive in Italy for medicals and to sign his contract.
– AC Milan accepted simple loan because Roma were pushing again to sign him.
