FC Barcelona – La Liga In latest edition of France Football
With Barcelona’s meeting with Paris Saint Germain just a week away, more fuel has been added to the fire in France.
The matter of Leo Messi‘s future, and interest from PSG, has been rife in recent months with the Catalan club voicing their displeasure at the constant comments coming from the French capital about the Argentine.
Now, France Football have escalated tensions by placing Messi on the front cover of their latest edition with a PSG shirt edited on the Barcelona forward.
The publication carried out a report with opinions from various experts on how Messi could fit in to the PSG side.
It should not be forgotten that in recent weeks, PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino and players like Angel Di Maria, Leandro Paredes and Neymar, have all spoken about Messi’s potential arrival.
This caused Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman to speak out.
“It’s disrespectful,” Koeman said when asked about Di Maria’s comments, with the Argentine claiming there was a “big chance” of being reunited with his international colleague.
“They talk about Leo a lot. He’s a Barcelona player, and we have a tie to play against them,” Koeman added.
It’s even been reported that Messi himself is tired about the constant speculation over his future, and that he has not made any decision about where he will play next season.
