Khris Middleton scored an off-balance jump shot with 0.5 seconds to go in overtime to give the Milwaukee Bucks a 109-107 victory over the Miami Heat in their Game 1 of their Eastern Conference playoff match-up.
The 29-year-old small forward registered 27 points and six rebounds, with Giannis Antetokounmpo scoring 26 and grabbing 18 rebounds to lead the Bucks to the win.
Two-time MVP Antetokounmpo didn’t impress with his performance, but the Heat could not take advantage of the Bucks‘ struggles on offense.
Duncan Robinson was the Heat‘s top scorer with 24 points, while Jimmy Butler managed a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
Milwaukee now lead 1-0 in the series and the next game between the two teams is scheduled for Monday.
