Serie A An honour to be at Juventus
Alvaro Morata has revealed his pride at playing alongside some of the biggest names in the current Juventus squad, such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala.
The former Real Madrid and Chelsea forward made the move back to Turin in the summer after Juve agreed a loan deal with Atletico Madrid.
“It’s easy to play with Cristiano, I’ve known him for a long time,” Morata told Sky Sport.
“In normal situations, in which a normal player wouldn’t score, he scores. I understand his movements and what he likes to do. I often draw men away from him with my runs and I think he helps me to not always have two or three men on me. It’s a pleasure to play with him.
“He’s fantastic. He has incredible quality and he can play wherever he wants. He can play as a No.9, No.10 or No.11. All I can do is enjoy being with him every day and I hope to play with him for a long time. It’s an honour for me.
“I grew up watching him and, when I arrived, I got excited thinking about playing with him or Dybala. They’re top class players. I will tell my children that I played with Cristiano and Dybala.”
