Transfer Market Stuttgart don’t want to lose him
Nicolas Gonzalez‘s good form at Stuttgart hasn’t gone unnoticed and Jose Mourinho is keen to take the Argentine to Tottenham.
The 22-year-old came through at Argentinos Juniors, and has become part of Lionel Scaloni‘s Argentina setup in recent international breaks.
The Athletic are reporting that Spurs are already in talks with the player’s representatives, and Gonzalez was key in Stuttgart’s promotion, scoring eight goals in nine games.
Now, in the Bundesliga, he has five goals in 10 appearances this season.
Stuttgart are reluctant to see him go though, and they’re asking for around 30 million euros, while his contract there runs until 2024.
Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United tried to sign him during the summer, but couldn’t come to an agreement, and Juventus are also thought to be interested, although they have to offload Federico Bernardeschi before making any moves to land him.
