Valladolid Recovery process starts now
Eusebio Sacristan has come out of the induced coma that he had been in since December 31.
The staff at the University Clinical Hospital of Valladolid woke the former footballer on Friday.
Eusebio had suffered a blow to his head on December 30 that required his admission to hospital and, after a few hours of observation, it was decided that he would undergo surgery, which led to an induced coma.
After waking up, Eusebio recognised the people in his presence, which is a good sign for his recovery.
