Osasuna vs Real Madrid Staff and heat lamps working hard
Osasuna are being proactive ahead of their LaLiga Santander clash with Real Madrid, deploying several workers to help remove snow from Estadio El Sadar’s pitch so that the match can go ahead without problems.
The weather forecast has given a 100 percent probability of snow for this Saturday, with the only uncertainty being just when it will begin.
That is why Osasuna have people at the ready to remove the snow when it begins to cover the field of play. Heavy snowfall is not expected, but it will be constant.
With the region of Navarra on orange alert, between five and seven centimetres of snow is expected over the next 24 hours, which the staff would have to combat early to stop it from interfering with the fixture.
The stadium has heat lamps for such circumstances, and they have been operating throughout Friday as a precaution, although they do not occupy the entire surface of the field simultaneously.
Snowfall is nothing new to the region however, and the club are confident that it will go ahead without serious issues.
