Coronavirus Surprising message
Pope Francis has compared gossiping to the COVID-19 pandemic, insisting that the former is worse than the latter.
Even as the world struggles to deal with the coronavirus crisis, he called for more truthful behaviour.
“The biggest gossiper is the devil, who is always saying bad things about others,” he said as he gave mass on Sunday.
“He is the liar trying to disunite the church to push away brothers and disrupt community.
“Please, brothers and sisters, let’s make an effort not to gossip.
“Gossiping is a plague that is worse than the coronavirus.
