Real Madrid – La Liga Will miss Castilla’s next match
Real Madrid have fallen victim to the increase in COVID-19 cases in Spain, with Castilla boss Raul Gonzalez testing positive for the virus.
The 43-year-old will now remain at home for a few days and comply with all the necessary protocols.
Valdebebas has acted like a bunker from COVID-19, but Raul‘s positive test is just the latest disruption that the club have had to deal with in the last 10 months.
In fact, some of Real Madrid‘s cadete age group (U15s and U16s) have played just four official matches since last March. And Raul‘s Castilla have not played any matches in 2021.
The last time that Raul‘s side took to the pitch in an official match was back on December 13, when Castilla beat Atletico Madrid B.
Their next match is scheduled for Sunday, January 24, against Getafe B, but Castilla will be without Raul on the sidelines.
