Wolves striker Raul Jimenez has committed his long-term future to the club by signing a new deal which will run until the summer of 2024.

Jimenez enjoyed an excellent 2019/20 season, finishing the campaign with 27 goals and ten assists in 55 appearances in all competitions, and he was named Player of the Season at the club.

The 29-year-old has made an equally bright start this term, bagging twice in his first three Premier League games.

Wolves have now taken to their official website to confirm that Jimenez has been rewarded for his efforts by putting pen to paper on a new long-term deal with the club.

Speaking after the news had been confirmed, Jimenez told the club’s website: “I am delighted to be here and to be at this great club. Since I was a little boy, I just wanted to play, I wanted to enjoy it, live it, and that’s why I am here for.

“They give me all the confidence and the opportunity to be an important guy at the front, and that’s what I was looking for when I arrived into Europe, and I’m very happy to continue at this club.
