Real Madrid have completed their first week of pre-season training.
Those not on international duty this month have taken part in the first seven days of pre-season under the watchful eye of Gregory Dupont.
The French fitness coach won the squad over with his work to prepare them during the end of last season and now he’s whipping them into shape again.
“We’ve all been working at home, so it’s easier for us all to come back,” Vinicius told Real Madrid TV.
“We have to suffer now in order to succeed over the course of the season.
“We know this work is important and Gregory always prepares the best work for us and has very clear ideas so we can be in really good shape.
“I feel very good physically because I did lots of days’ work before returning to training with the team.
“I’m always very focused on pre-season because I know it’s the most important work to avoid getting injured.”
The players are putting in the hard yards in order to achieve their goals for the coming season.
“The objective is the same as always – win everything and put Real Madrid in the best place possible, which is first in everything,” Vinicius added.
“We’re going strong for LaLiga Santander, the Champions League and the Copa del Rey.”
