Ryan Fraser and Callum Wilson will undergo Newcastle medicals on Monday, as the Magpies look to conclude transfers for both Bournemouth stars on the same day.
It was reported on Sunday that Newcastle had a bid accepted for Wilson, who has been one of the Premier League’s most consistent goalscorers since Bournemouth’s promotion in 2015. Their relegation to the Championship, coupled with the financial implications of the coronavirus crisis, meant that a bad in the region of £20m was enough.
Fraser, meanwhile, has been a free agent since leaving the Cherries in June, and it appears Newcastle have won the race for his signature.

Sky Sports’ Keith Downie reports that each will undergo medicals on Monday, meaning the signings could be announced simultaneously if all goes to plan.
They will join Jeff Hendrick, who Newcastle signed on a free transfer last month, as Steve Bruce looks to strengthen his ranks ahead of their season opener with West Ham.
