The NFL announced their team of officials ahead of the game on Sunday, February 7, and Sarah Thomas has been included as down judge, making her the first female to officiate in a Super Bowl.

Carl Cheffers has been named referee, having previously taken charge of Super Bowl 51.

Fred Bryan, Thomas, Rusty Baynes, James Coleman, Eugene Hall, Dino Paganelli, and Mike Wimmer make up the rest of the team.
