Real Madrid – La Liga Blanco and Chust joined first team’s session
Real Madrid have continued their preparations for Wednesday’s Copa del Rey tie against Alcoyano, with Sergio Ramos missing Monday’s group training session.
Instead, the Real Madrid captain worked in the gym as he recovers from a knee injury that he played through against Athletic Club in the Supercopa de Espana semi-finals last Thursday.
It is expected that Ramos will not be included for the Alcoyano match, and the same could apply for Raphael Varane, despite him training with the group once again on Monday.
Monday saw Victor Chust and Antonio Blanco take part in the first team’s training session on Monday and both have a chance of making their debuts on Wednesday night.
Zinedine Zidane is expected to heavily rotate his team, which will give of Chust and Blanco a chance to feature, as well as the likes of Alvaro Odriozola, Eder Militao, Marcelo, Martin Odegaard, Isco and Mariano Diaz.
Real Madrid will train on Tuesday in what will be their final session before playing Alcoyano.
