An increasing problem in the NBA is the number of positive COVID-19 cases, and Seth Curry is the latest to test positive, with the Philadelphia 76ers star actually receiving his test result in the middle of a match.

Although he didn’t enter the court at any point during the clash with the Brooklyn Nets, Curry was with his teammates on the bench during the first quarter.

The medical team affiliated with the Sixers took the brother of Steph Curry to an isolated room as soon as the news came through, and he would then leave the Barclays Center separately from his teammates.

Philadelphia’s team will now be forced to remain in quarantine in New York until a new batch of tests are carried out on them.

For their part, the Brooklyn Nets have to this point decided they will still travel to Memphis to play against the Grizzlies in their next match on January 9.

It was a dismal evening in general for the Sixers, with Doc Rivers‘ side falling to a 122-109 defeat against a Nets team that were without both Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant.
