Julen Lopetegui has extended his contract as Sevilla head coach until 30 June 2024, adding two years to his existing contract.

With Saturday’s win over Real Sociedad, the Basque coach reached the 100-point mark as Sevilla boss, adding this season’s 30 to the 70 which secured a fourth-place finish last campaign.

In his first season in charge, the former Porto, Spain and Real Madrid manager achieved a Champions League place and won the Europa League.
