Sheffield United are interested in signing Amad Diallo from Manchester United in the summer transfer window, according to Sky Sports. It has been reported that United, who are playing in the Championship this season after getting relegated from the Premier League, want to secure the services of the 19-year-old Ivory Coast international winger on a season-long loan deal.
The Red Devils could allow Diallo to leave on loan this summer so that he can play regular first-team football this season. The winger joined United from Atalanta in January 2021. The teenager made two starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for United last season. Diallo scored one goal in four substitute appearances in the Europa League for the Red Devils.
Diallo is unlikely to get regular playing time for United this season, especially as Jadon Sancho has joined from Borussia Dortmund in he summer transfer window. It would make sense for the teenager to go to the Blades on loan.
