NBA Hit just two of 16 shots from the field
Steph Curry has had a very peculiar 2020/21 season, with lots of highs and with some lows too. His brilliance has given the Golden State Warriors some signs of life, but even he had an off night on Sunday.
He hit just two of his 16 shots for a 12.5 percent accuracy rate, which is tied for the worst in the franchise’s last 20 years of all players who had taken at least 15 field goal attempts. Klay Thompson, David Lee and Baron Davis are the other players to also post a two out of 16 attempts night.
In total, including his free throws, Curry had 11 points and this did help the Warriors to a victory over the Toronto Raptors, winning 106-105.
“My offense, I expect it to be there every night,” a disappointed Curry said afterwards.
Curry had scored 143 points over his previous four matches (35.7 points per game) and will be looking to get back to his best before long.
