Boxing Became heavyweight world champion at 20
Mike Tyson became the youngest boxer to become heavyweight champion of the world when he defeated Trevor Berbick to take the WBC belt at 20 years of age in 1986.
However, the American’s boxing legend began much before that as he started to make a name for himself as a teenager.
In a display of his power and promise, Tyson‘s knockout of Joe Cortez in the final of the Youth Olympics in 1981 earned global acclaim.
It took just 10 seconds or the 15-year-old from Brooklyn to stop his opponent in Australia.
