Tottenham keen to sell Moussa Sissoko, Serge Aurier & Davinson Sanchez

Tottenham have told Moussa Sissoko, Serge Aurier and Davinson Sanchez that they are available for transfer this summer.

With Fabio Paratici calling the shots and Nuno Espirito Santo appointed to lead the team, Spurs are keen to rebuild their squad this summer and already looking to make some big signings, which means some players will inevitably have to leave.

There are plenty of first-team players whose futures at the club are by no means certain, but according to The Athletic, there are some who have been told that they are up for sale this summer – including Sissoko, Aurier and Sanchez.

It’s suggested that Sissoko’s exit is a high priority at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium because of the knock-on effect it has on fringe players like young Oliver Skipp, who is still waiting to find out whether he will be part of the squad next season or not.

The 20-year-old enjoyed an impressive loan spell with Norwich City last year and it is understood that Spurs want to keep him around this season. Sissoko’s presence could block that and force Skipp out on another loan.

As for Sanchez, a deal to offload the defender had already been in the pipeline earlier in the window when Spurs agreed a swap deal to send him to Sevilla in exchange for Jules Kounde, only for the Colombian to reject a move to the club.

Spurs have since turned their attention to Atalanta’s Cristian Romero, but his price tag of around £50m could prove problematic, particularly if Spurs cannot raise any money by selling Sanchez.

Finally, links between Aurier and AC Milan have re-emerged recently and a cut-price deal could be done as he enters the final year of his contract. On paper, it seems like Nuno is ready to work with former Wolves star Matt Doherty again, but the boss is actually ready to sell him as well.

While there are no active plans to offload Doherty, Nuno is open to upgrading at right-back as he does not believe the Irishman is comfortable enough on the ball – a concern which led to his initial sale under Nuno last year.

There are a lot of players on whom Nuno must make a decision, and the sales are expected to ramp up after the upcoming pre-season friendlies against Chelsea and Arsenal.
