Australian Open Swiss player in one of the official hotels
The build-up to the Australian Open has been fraught with problems for many, but some, like Stanislas Wawrinka, seem to be quite at ease in their quarantine.
An elite few players, including Rafa Nadal and Serena Williams are part of the Adelaide bubble, enjoying better conditions and more freedom, while most players are currently in Melbourne and having to observe strict quarantines.
There have been numerous complaints from players about the conditions in the hotels, but Wawrinka, part of the Melbourne bubble, has tweeted a picture of himself in a luxurious suite.
The Swiss player seemed to be enjoying a tasty breakfast in spacious surroundings as he began his quarantine.
Meanwhile, Kazakh player Yulia Putintseva found a mouse in her room, showing the video evidence on social media.
The Australian Open is scheduled to begin on 8 February.
