Real Madrid – La Liga Marvin and Chust among them
Real Madrid’s injury crisis has forced Zinedine Zidane into calling up a host of youth players for the game against Getafe on Tuesday.
The signs so far are that the Frenchman will have just 12 senior squad members at his disposal for the game, and will therefore have to rely on youth.
Seven Castilla players trained on Monday with the first team squad: Marvin Park (19 years old) and Victor Chust (20 years old) will be included as they were for the last encounter against Huesca.
They were joined by Miguel Gutierrez (19), Sergio Arribas (19 years old), Antonio Blanco (19), Hugo Vallejo (20) and Loren (18), and a couple of others could also join the squad.
Chust has already made his debut in the Copa del Rey, while Marvin and Arribas did so in the first league game of the season.
Of those who often trains with the first team, Antonio Blanco has yet to make his senior debut.
The Frenchman doesn’t give out opportunities easily to youth players, prioritising his senior members, yet it seems he has little choice against Getafe.
